Lauren Drummond Dale
Lauren Drummond Dale, MCBI, the principal of Coastal Consultants, leading the lower middle market advisory portion of the practice. With offices in Louisiana and Mississippi, she advises privately held companies across the MidSouth, including Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
Lauren works with business owners on valuation, exit readiness, and transaction execution for companies typically ranging from $2 million to $40 million in revenue. Her experience spans a broad range of industries, with direct involvement in transactions and advisory engagements from the lower main street through companies approaching $30 million in revenue.
With more than two decades of experience as both an operator and intermediary, she brings firsthand perspective from owning and operating six- to eight-figure businesses. This background informs her approach to identifying value drivers, assessing risk, and positioning companies to align with qualified strategic and financial buyers.
As a Master Certified Business Intermediary (MCBI)—a designation held by a limited number of professionals nationwide—Lauren applies a disciplined, process-driven methodology to each engagement. Her work is executed through her Trusted Transition Path™, a structured framework aligning valuation, preparation, market positioning, and transaction execution.
A defining element of her practice is a valuation-first approach, grounded in her Preparation to Payday™ philosophy. Rather than beginning with a decision to sell, she works with owners to establish a clear, supportable understanding of value, identify gaps, and determine the most effective path forward—whether that leads to immediate market engagement or a period of focused preparation.
Her approach emphasizes valuation accuracy, controlled buyer access, and deliberate negotiation strategy—maintaining strict confidentiality while optimizing transaction outcomes.
Coastal Consultants lower middle market engagements are selective and focused on business owners who are prepared to approach a transition strategically, with an emphasis on preparation, positioning, and execution.
